Happy Halloween!

We dressed up both kids for Halloween this year. M wore an adorable monkey costume I bought at Old Navy, and A wore a cute cow costume from The Children's Place (total price for both costumes: $20 plus $10 total shipping, for a grand total of $30). We'll be seeing that monkey costume again when A is two. Apparently, the monkey costume was a big hit this year and Old Navy sold out of them pretty quickly. People started selling them on eBay for more than twice the value, which is pretty insane. In any case, the boys had a lot of fun (even though it's gotten pretty cold here) and so did we. I realized that we bought way too much candy (two huge bags) from Costco, and so did everyone else in our neighborhood. The children are all pretty young here, so maybe we'll go with stickers or Play Doh next year. In the meantime, we have enough Kit Kat bars and peanut butter cups to last for quite some time.
